Jil Berenblum is a PhD researcher at Northeastern University’s BioInteractive Design (BInD) Lab, where her work explores the intersection of biomaterials, sustainability, and advanced fabrication. She positions materials as active agents of environmental stewardship, developing regenerative systems that integrate ecological responsibility with craftsmanship while challenging design monocultures.
Previously working with tangible experiences and innovation strategies at Cartier’s Innovation Lab, LAB at Rockwell Group, and the Tal Danino Lab. She holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Design from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute.
